The Angmering School of Dance

Angmering School of Dance was founded in 2002 by Miss Kim Mirceta-Nash, a fully qualified Teacher with the IDTA.

At Angmering School of Dance we promote the art of dance in a fun and safe environment with qualified teachers who all hold a fully enhanced CRB/DBS and adopt an all-inclusive policy for children of all ages and abilities.

Classes are currently available in ballet, tap, modern jazz, freestyle, street dance, contemporary, musical theatre, drama, singing.

Most lessons take place at our Main Studios in The Angmering School.

All pupils work to the IDTA syllabus and take exams regularly throughout the year with huge success of a 100% pass rate, to date.

Once every two years all pupils take part in a week long production at a local theatre where they gain valuable stage and performance experience and have a lot of fun entertaining the masses!

Our Musical Theatre Group, however, takes part in two performances a year – one being at a theatre and the other based at the school.

Angmering School of Dance is associated with a London casting agency ‘Creative Kidz’ This allows some of our pupils who show extraordinary performance talent to be given an opportunity to expand and continue their dancing and performance career into the professional world by breaking into the audition process for TV and West End castings.

Pupils from the Dance School have gone on to experience professional performance work in pantomime, gained places at the Royal Ballet JA program, performed in West End Productions, TV credits of commercials, and children’s Television. Former pupils are studying at Roehampton, Laban, Rambert, The BRIT School and Italia Conti.
